VOD Tac is located in a secluded area of Western North Carolina just ten minutes off I-40 in Old Fort. With three shooting ranges that have covered sheds so classes and events are held in almost any weather. Our range facilities are private and used solely for teaching our classes and hosting shooting events.
Our Mission
VOD Tac provides shooting and firearms instruction that meets you where you are, whether you’ve never held a gun before or have been shooting your whole live. We provide beginner to advanced firearms classes, individualized one on one instruction, tactical combat type training, and customized group courses. At VOD Tac we believe in fostering the individual’s empowerment of self protection & self reliance by instilling confidence & competence in firearms skills.

We are located just 12 mins off I-40 in Old Fort, NC. Take Bat Cave Rd South away from town for 2.4mi, turn Right onto Pine Cove Rd for 3mi, turn Right onto Walker Dr take Left at cul-de-sac following VOD Tac Range signs.
